You will be amazed at the fine work she did with her knitting, crochet, sewing, and other handcrafts. The agenda for the next board meeting will be sent out this week. The meeting will be Wednesday, July 17, at 3pm. Public is welcomed. HISTORICAL MUSINGS The following statement about the Fourth of July was made by John Adams, a lawyer, the first vice President and the Second President of the United States, and was one of the members of the Second continental Congress who signed the Declaration of Independence. He wrote to his wife, "I believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival... it ought to be celebrated by pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations from one end of this continent to the other."His wishes and prediction has come thru with many celebrations and fireworks. I hope you enjoy yours. |
