WOLF CREEK HERITAGE MUSEUM NOTES
by Virginia Scott

MUSEUM HAPPENINGS

We held our first artist reception on Sunday for Jo Le Ginter. More than 40 people came and browsed through her exhibit and our new spaces. For some it was their first visit to the museum and they were pleasantly surprised and amazed that our small county had such a great museum. So again thanks to all of you who donate your family treasurers and your donation each year that allows us to keep growing.

The walls are finished and we will start constructing the exhibits in earnest this week. Once the exhibits are in at least their first stage of completion, we will set the date for an open house to celebrate our new space. Stay tuned for that announcement.

Please mark your calendar for 2pm on April 29 for a reception here at the museum to celebrate Floyd Thiessen's 80th birthday. It should be fun so prepare your favorite Floyd story and come to the museum.

The board is meeting on Thursday, April 16 (probably as you are reading this article). We have a full board for the first time in years and everyone is active. We appreciate their service to the museum. Remember our meetings are open to the Public and you are welcome to come and join our discussions.
