WOLF CREEK HERITAGE MUSEUM NOTES

MUSEUM HAPPENINGS

We are trying to start the new year and evaluate last year. Compiling our annual reports for our broad and for the state. So its paper work for us for next few weeks. On Wednesdays, we now have a full crew of volunteers which include some young men so that we now have 'man' power to move stuff around.

We will be rearranging and changing some of our items to put a new look on things and rotating items so they can "rest." If you have any ideas on what you like us to display please call, write, or email.
Will report on Genealogy meeting that met on Wednesday, next week.

HISTORICAL MUSINGS

In 1919, students and teachers participated in a County Interscholastic League and had periodic exhibits.
The work to be exhibited was:
  1. Note book work
  2. Map Drawing
  3. Busy work: a. neatest patching — b. neatest button holes — c. neatest apron — d. crochet work — e. knitting — f. tatting — g. handkerchief hemmed by hand — h. any other kind of sewing and other work that comes in busy work during school year

The schools were judged on neatness, amount work submitted, and variety of work.
