WOLF CREEK HERITAGE MUSEUM NOTES

MUSEUM HAPPENINGS

I announced last week that we were planning our annual fundraiser. We may have to reschedule our date so be sure and read next weeks column and I will know our plans.

We are getting ready to have the courthouse relocate some of its functions and offices to our spaces so the courthouse renovation can begin. So in the coming weeks expect some changes when you visit.

We are busy trying to clean out our storage areas at the old school so the courthouse can use those areas. It is interesting because we are finding things long forgotten.

Our new exhibit is up and it is a colorful and delightful exhibit of saddles, bridles, and harnesses made by Cody Graves. His exhibit is entitled "Spiderweb Tack." His display of his creations will entertain and surprise you. Plan a visit.

HISTORICAL MUSINGS

To continue Supt. Baucom rules here are two more.
"I believe that Germany shall lose because of miscalculations to accuracy in mathematics and in every subject shall be emphasized.
I believe America should cultivate closer business and social relations with her Spanish-American neighbors on the south and to do so the American citizens must know Spanish, and realizing this we offer Spanish as a part of the school course."
